First, I want to say…

I’m sorry I didn’t go in the order I planned to!

I start school in two days, and I know I won’t have time to write the detailed walkthroughs for at least 3 weeks… And I also wanted to enjoy the game myself for a bit too T_T So I read an entire route without posting anything eheh…

So I’ve done 707’s route~ My favourite character that I was so looking forward to ♥
I’ve seen that some people were struggling with his route, so although I have not unlocked ALL the available options there are in the game, I’m going to post the answers that I chose since I got the good ending.

I will be updating this post in the future to fill in all the available options there are, but for now, the titles will NOT have a ‘✩’ icon in them, so take that as the reference and future update of the post. I WILL ALSO BE DOING THE SAME FOR JUMIN’S ROUTE – I’M IN THE DEEP STORY ROUTE; I CAN’T GET OUT ;;

    • Before I tell you, just want you to know that you need 80 hourglasses to unlock “Deep Story”. Otherwise, to unlock “Deep Story” you go: Settings > Account > Start Over (Save before you do this).

      Settings is the little gear in the top right corner.

      After that, you should see “Casual Story” and “Deep Story”. Unless you’ve done the deep route before, the deep route will have a lock on it. Tap on “Deep Route” and a confirmation thing should pop up and your confirm your purchase of “Deep Story” with 80 (eighty) hourglasses.

      I hope the translator can translate this into understandable French for you.

    • a bit into his route seven will get quite emotional and maybe act colder, just be more sincere and serious with him rather than goofing around when he’s like that and you should be fine

    But I thought of one other thing that I cant seem to find the answer to by googling.

    If I miss a chatroom conversation and pay the 5 hourglass fee to talk in it, do the points/hearts for answering correctly to the character routes still count? or am I using those precious hourglasses on wasted effort?

  12. This may seem a little stupid, but I’m new to play MM, and I was wondering if you have to finish casual mode to be able to unlock deep mode, because in the main menu I only see options for casual story, after endings and extras?

    • when you first start it should ask if you want to play casual story or deep story mode (not sure if its changed?). if not if you play all 3 casual routes (zen, jaehee, and loosing), you should be able to unlock deep story mode

    • Mostly, you’ll get Jumin’s route if you gain too many hearts with him by talking about his cat all the time.

      However, if you’re certain that you’ve been gaining Seven’s hearts A LOT more than you have been with Jumin, it should not be a problem.

    • Hello there 🙂

      It really is up to you in the end ^^ Many people just play the characters that they want and that’s totally fine. Just if you want to experience the storyline fully, it would be better to start off from the beginning. I also got the starting order wrong, which I’ll update later, but Zen should be played first, and then Yoosung.

      Anyway, if you want to play 707 only, go for it 🙂

  22. I’ve seen the secret stories people talk about through spoilers but how do you actually get them!?!?!? i really want to know. ive already gone through 707 and i got the ending where we are together and on the way to find his brother. how do i get the secret routes?

    • The secret stories are in the “Extras” section. ^^ Secret Story 01 should unlock after you get 707’s good ending.

      From there you have to pay 10 hourglasses for each episode.

  23. I got to Day 5 ( Deep Story ) and I guess it was 707. But I got the one where 707 made me leave RFA in the end. There were only 2 Visual Novel and 1 chat (“Danger”).

    • If you follow my walkthrough, you shouldn’t get onto the bad ending 😮

      You have to calm 707 down, be reasonable with him but also agree with him low-key at the same time. When he is being serious, don’t pressure him, and support him always.

      When he is serious, don’t joke around. Only when he jokes around, should you do the same and play along.

      Hope that helps, but really, following the walkthrough should get you to the good ending 🙂

  24. OKay, I don’the know what i’my doing wrong, I get like all possible hearts with 707 and barely any hearts with Jumin, but every time I get put on the Jumin route. Whathe am I missing?

    • I’m not too sure, actually D:
      If you are sure that you get more hearts with 707 rather than Jumin, perhaps try looking at the responses you give.

      Responses seem to matter a lot in the Deep Story > <

      I'm sure you're already doing this, but make sure that you never say anything about Jumin's cat (as much as you can) and pretty much ignore him all the time.

      Sorry I can't really be much of help, since you should be able to get on 707's route :c

I played Zen’s, Yoosung’s and Jaehee’s route because of the story but does it matter for the story if I play 707’s route first and then Jumin’s? :0

    • It really doesn’t matter which route you want to play first, but the recommended order is Yoosung, Zen, Jaehee, Jumin and then 707 for last.

      Because 707’s route leads to the secret stories, and answers all the questions haha.

      I don’t actually remember if Jumin’s route had any real info that was missing, but if you’re the type that doesn’t really mind about order of playthrough, then you might as well go with 707 xD

    • You only need to pay 80 hourglasses to unlock the deep route. You don’t have to pay every single time. c:

      707’s route is better left until last though ~ ;; I played his earlier but it just feels a lot better to play it last xD

So… I’ve been playing Mystic Messenger and I had an inkling that 707’s route was part of the deep story because of the faces that show up when you decide which route to take but I took my chances and tried to get his route in the casual story which, obviously, doesn’t work. And now I’m on the fifth day and somehow… there’s no one in the slot where it indicates whose route you are on.

    I’ve checked on other websites and blogs and as far as I know as of right now, it’s not following anyone’s guides 0v0??? I don’t know if this is a route with me not falling in love with anyone or not. Basically I came here to see if you knew anything about this? I wasn’t sure where to leave this message so I just decided to put it in here… hope you don’t mind…

    I intentionally avoided trying to bond with any other characters and broke hearts when I could, only trying to aim for Lucien so it makes me wonder if I need a certain amount of hearts to get a route. I actually just woke up and couldn’couldn’t fall back asleep so I only have the first chat room for right now…

      707’s route is only available in the Deep Story route in the first place. If you play Casual Story, you won’t get him no matter what you do. Only Yoosung, Zen and Jaehee are available there.

      To get to Deep Story, you need to pay 80 hourglasses from the selection page between Casual and Deep.

      I haven’t been in your situation, so I can’t say for sure… But I believe that you will probably be going towards the bad ending since you aren’t on a person’s route.

      Are you playing the “Casual Story” or “Deep Story”? If you didn’t spend 80 hourglasses to unlock the deep story mode then you’re on casual story, and 707 is only available in deep route.
